Speaking of air fares let me share something with you.

Yesterday I booked a trip to Paris from Houston for today -- BusinessFirst class, the last seat on the plane.

The fare is an eye popping $6918. I almost choked on my doggie bone.

These airlines are making $$$.

My travel agent says all the planes are full and there has not been a summer air sale as of yet. Normally they would have already had a sale. This may be the year of no sale.

Not saying I like it, but it's no doubt classic supply and demand. Not enough seats for fannies. Airlines answer to shareholders and are always looking to prop up the bottom line.
