i am faithful and i trust macker...now i am waiting for my next surprise.

my financial analysis for today:

most listed stocks are followed and the price of the stock (to a large extent) has all publicly available information built into it. Why do people chart stocks...because charting can expose reliable tendencies. For example, when INTC gets hit due to bad earnings, it usually takes corrective measures (e.g., stock buy-back). In the case of AT&T, they brought on Armstrong to take the reins which in doubled AT&T share price in the last 3 months of 1997. Playing these stocks is actually very risky although the historical performance of the market is 14%- that is an average and i doubt INTC will be so lucky this year.

I actually see our 3 penny stocks as less risky than many listed stocks in some ways. for example, being able to do the DD that we have done gives us an edge as surely some of this info. is NOT built into our price. this is a major advantage over shorters and MMs- who are playing off of arbitrary percentages gains and past performace of some unfortunate companies.

it is important to remember that we are not the same as past average companies- whatever one is. there is no such thing as an AVERAGE consumer, an AVERAGE company, etc. averages help us make quick decisions, but many times lead us to the wrong answers.

PS. my advice...take a break from the daily stock movements and concentrate on what really helps us all...doing DD. if i were not in Lima, Peru i would help out more instead of just sharing my financial advice...well, 7 more months to go.
