rcvd this msg: a bit of good news by maria. after mkt close intel spkeswoman told intc is not contemplating any e announcements. whatever they said earlier will still hold good. aft hrs intc closed at 68. NO ERN WARNING H&Q guy: u know H&Q downgraded from strong buy to buy. H&Q guy feels: pc demand slowing - invent. correc - asia problems - intel will have difficulty to get strong e - from the 2 months sales already completed in the qrt, intel has to sell a lot in this month. hq feels it will be difficult for intel to do that. he does not see how intel can even book some of the sales in 3 qrt in the 2nd qrt to ge better e. hq expect 2nd half better but not be very strong. hq thinks it is a very good long term hold. he wants to get all the bad news out of the stock..
