I KNEW ALL these sheep funds would sell-nobody a long term investor. its pretty intersting because the big blowoff should have been jan-mar because that was when we were entering consistant bad eps for the group. back then smart money was selling or shorting and dumb money was buying and now the opposite is happening. the key is smart money like myself will not be aggressive buyers in a downcycle like this but will be patiece. the key is if you believe second half of 1999 will be strong it would not hurt to nibble a little.i like today some klac at 29,ter at 29 , veco at 27 will not be bad investments.also, like lscc today around 35 dollers. yes, the bear started to turn bullish but more on valuation concern than anything else. i wanted a position because semi's are way oversold and we will see at least bounce in it the group-sox is down 24%since april. i plan on averaging down but you are seeing paNIC SELLING and i not to sure if 1996 lows will be tested. can anybody explain this to me . if your a buyer of the semi group you understand its not eps play but a long term investment. why would anybody be blowing the stock of klac, lscc through 52 week low with big sellers taking big losses. i mean both these companies might go lower but in 1999 these stock will double from these prices. i watch a fund the last two days pounding klac with over 2million for sale at a big loss. it does not make sense but the past is always indication of the future and he we go again. we will be up big tomorrow
