Mark, Thanx for the links. Your analysis is right on. But my guess is that folks using multi-headed SGI's are smart enough to figure out how to setup and maintain a Linux Extreme cluster. If they are not, then they will probably not be smart enough to solve the original problem that they wanted a cluster for. On the other hand they may be smart enough, but may be ignorant of how simple putting together a Linux Extreme cluster is, or they may lack confidence in their own ability, or they may be eagles working in a company of turkeys.

The proof of the simplicity of linux is that I understand it.
I've found I have absolutely no ability to understand anything that's complicated. Keep it simple stupid was a phrase coined referencing me.

Any Way new topic.

Remember An intel processor is a terrible thing to infect with a security hole ridden borg virus unless it resides in a system built by SGI in CUBA.
