Brad,<<by virtue of the intel announcement alone, tomorrow the nasdaq has 30 points of upside potential. I think we may have seen the tech correction bottom >> don't be so quick to assume so. The Intel announcement was very vague. They did not say we will not warn for this Q. Read the announcement closely. The market (and techs in general) are very skittish. We may see a pop in the morning, but do not be surprised with all the concerns out there, and summertime coming (where the perception is slowing growth), techs may be weak for awhile (but maybe not) We will see.

Dave

For two weeks now I've seen people declare how it must've
bottomed, "'cause the despair is so great". Well in semis
we can only hope that it is close, but if it is it will
be extended anyway while other sectors can reach their low point.

Also the semis are not completely sacked yet, still a little
mercy has been given to DS, LSI, XLNX.
