It looks to me like the iMac might be another colossal
apple mistake. Don't get me wrong, I like apple, and I
think turnaround time has come, but I can't see why
anybody would buy aa machine with NO expansion options.

Are you serious? Haven't you heard of USB? That's expansion, baby. There's also a proprietary slot inside. In addition to that, it has the ability to accept processor upgrades, and news is that 400Mhz cards are already in the works. That's three ways to expand the system by my count.

This post has to be a troll, there is no way you can say the iMac is not expandable...

They don't even have an external SCSI connector, meaning you can't plug up a Zip disk or CDROM writer.

Which means, actually, that you can't plug in a SCSI Zip drive or CDROM writer. If you've been following the announcement of the iMac, you'll note that it is not meant to be a machine to which one would connect a CDROM writer. Buy a G3 desktop for that. Or, wait until Apple offers a CDROM RW drive as an option in the iMac.

Remember, one of the things the 'i' stands for is Internet.

GO AAPL!
