RH, I'll throw this back at you...

A logical argument assumes the antagonists are capable of rational thought. So, sorry, you'll just have to stick to snide remarks and sarcasm like the rest of us. (gg)

<<The delays, the difficulty in getting started, the budget overuns, the confusion and lack of contingency planning, the difficulty in making inventory of systems, etc, etc... is indicative of the root of the problem--one of management. Which is precisely why this problem has the potential of being a catastrophe. Anyone who believes the government can tackle a massive management problem has obviously never dealt with them on a direct basis.>>

Truer words were never spoken.

<<What they don't seem to address is that it is not simply a tech issue but rather a management or mismanagement issue.>>

Huh?!?

<<Anyone who believes the government can tackle a massive management problem has obviously never dealt with them on a direct basis.>>

Not that I'm a great fan of government management but this statement is false - and obviously so...unless you want to dismiss the fact that the government is responsible for managing the armed forces, scores of federal agencies (FBI, IRS, CIA, NSA, etc. etc. etc.), interstate and international commerce, diplomatic relations, federally-funded trinkets like the interstate highway system, and so on and so on and so on.
