Re: Until then, LSI is dog shit and I don't want to convince myself otherwise until EVERYONE thinks its dog shit...that will be the time to buy IMO.

If EVERYONE means me as well then you will be waiting for a long long time.

BTW I kinda realized that is what you were doing (testing the sentiment waters - the posts clearly were meant to egg people on - that's why I ignored the first one - those 6 or 7 "reasons"). I knew things like the insider sell and the purported "connection" to echostar were spurious and I know you knew it too (just not gel with the type of clear thinking you used to have and the posts of several months ago). This is not the thread to guage sentiment as of yet. You may get it if LSI and the sector does the one day collapse thing. A better place ot guage this sentiment thing is the yahoo thread.

To me it is absolutely clear that there are a lot of people on other threads who similarly try to "mine" for "free" information like this - both lurkers and posters. Seems very manipulative to me.

This for one is one reason why I no longer:
(a) tell anyone what stocks I own
(b) tell what prices I buy or sell (very occassionally I still do)

there are way too many experts (sociologists) on these threads trying to do this "data-mining" thing.

There is very little give and take these days on SI. It is mostly take or private messages. SI is going kaput and they don't know it yet.

I don't want to give traders any clues. So I stick with l/t and i/t stuff. N/t I say very little. I know that I am still saying things they could use but hey that's my problem.

I have thought about maybe occassionally I should just screw them up and just lie!
