Rick:"Life(and Bucks)afterY2K Cobol" Massive amounts of work just starting to come from federal/state/ local govt. as well as fortune 1000 companies, for IT shops that do Cobol. Major work to be started now till 2002 and on going to 2008 . Cobol coders earn well into next century. Article in Smart Reseller dated June 12/98. Interesting read it confirms other opinions I've been reading about Cobols future, slow out of the gate but lots of legs going forward..
