Steve,

As a long time Intel follower, IMO, that type of behavior is not consistent with Intel's style or history. Intel's business will ultimately do all the talking that is necessary.

If Intel was interested in manipulating the short term stock price they would not have announced the Merced delay.

It's illegal! Intel has a legal obligation to disclose material
news as soon as it has it.
