Doug, I can only speak first hand about VLSI's Wireless group (I should also say they have been a client in the past). Their technology is absolutely top rate, and they have some of the best and brightest working there (this should not be discounted in the present environment, where IBM purchased all of Commquest Technologies just to get hold of their wireless designers). The new CDMA chips will be the top CDMA handset solutions available, more tightly integrated with better price/performance, period. I can also tell you that they have other new products coming, which I can not elaborate on, except to say VLSI has been spending R&D money on some very exciting and competitive technologies. Unfortunately Wall St. demands growth every quarter, and the last two have been slow. Hope this helps, Jim
