I believe my friend leaves on 8th. I will tell her what you said.

I can believe French airline pilots would pull a trick like this. Call a strike & enjoy the soccer tournament.

I also understand that Air France pilots as a group make a lot of money compared to their peers.

I've been told the French government cannot order them back to work.

So why not enjoy the holidays, especially when the pilots have a fat paycheck.
