change two letters while standing over the gunnels while sailing and trying to harmfully catch a big fish and you are whaling! Another philologist! High on my wish list is to own the unabridged OED. Of my 18 months in London, I spent nearly 6 at the British Library where one of my biggest temptations was the dictionary. Every new word was a journey --- all that history! Widdershins and ogham were two favorites. Either could launch a novel. See what happens when you tempt a woman with words. :)) Later -- Pat
