<< no value to offer, getting beat in sub $1000 category>> Vinman, if you think INTC will loose in Sub1000 PCc think twice. Mendocino will fix that. Those people who need really cheap PC Sub $600 will get Celeron. Intel will dump them at $75 soon.
Ok, there is going to be a Billion PCs out there, let me ask you how many server people will need? How many will be Intel inside?
Xenon will sell like a popcorn for server. Here is one of the reason why INTC delays the Merced. INTC want people to buy more Xenon now not wait for Merced.
When the Merced comes out it will meet with high Demand servers due to xDSL open up the internet bandwidth, then Merced will be a Typical server and Xenon will become your cheap regular desktop.

Vinman,

<getting beat in sub $1000 category >

Really?? Getting beat by who?? In case you aren't aware, the vast majority of sub $1000 PC's are Intel based. More importantly, Intel is the only company making money selling CPU's for this segment.

Vinman, Re: >" INTC is heading to $50 this year, no value to offer, getting beat in sub $1000 category, ASP falling more all the time. The INTC days as a blue chip are passing by quickly....."<

You sound like you really know what your talking about. I think you should short INTC all the way down to

YOUR LAST PENNY!

Vermin, Your new at this "investing/trading thingy", no?

From your own profile under "occupation":
You state you are a professional nudist

Lost you shirt already I see. ;-)
I was going to give you some free advice: "Stick to paper trades"...
But I see you have no choice but to trade with paper...and you already paid dearly for the lesson I see, so it's hardly free. <ROFL>

Regards...
