Web, thanks for the post.

Last night, moonray made a good point about how, ISP's
have to upgrade first before major advertising of
x2 56K v.90 can be done. If they roll out the product
too soon and ISP's are not ready, users all over the place
are going to get incredibly confused and frustrated.

You're experience is hopefully going to be the 'classic
experience' of all ISP-user relationships. Hopefully,
ISP's will realize that Flex upgrades will be a nightmare,
and 56k x2 hardware is the way to go. Too bad for the
average customer that has Flex modems, now has to
buy a new x2 modem to get near 56K speed. Maybe
3Com should give such customers some sort of discount...
