I'm new to SI since this week, I've seen IRC mentioned several places but have yet to learn much about it. I will have to find time to download the software? and try it out. At this point I just understand it's a way to have private? conversations.

I saw DIXS mentioned on SI earlier this week and looked at recent chart and volume the night before it took off. Based on the big jump in volume I entered a buy at 3/8 for the next morning to get a few shares. I couldn't believe where it opened and went straight up. Not knowing anything about the company I didn't buy in at those prices. I'm watching to see what happens next and trying to pick up a little info along the way. Mostly concentrating on ICVI at the moment and planning to hold it for some time. I do have some money coming in from elsewhere soon so maybe this will work out.
