I think everyone knew that the merger was about to be approved so that won't move the price. The Intel comment about earnings is far more important in my opinion cause I still believe that there is a big doubt about earnings for CPQ this quarter. I posted previously when CPQ first warned that they didn't want negative earnings so they would 'manage' the situ...... now its important to get this behind them so I expect a worse than projected figure. How the street treats it is open to question. If management make positive sounds about going forward then they can get away with failing the estimate IMHO. Overall, the market needs good news ... otherwise all the tech stocks are going dooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn !!. I don't expect any news from the company till next week given the Thursday date. Lets all hope the market can hang together !! Good luck to all Stephen
