For the price it can't be beat. It will be less than half the cost of SCSI RAID.

I would like to compare the FastTrack bios functions to SCSI RAID bios functions. The Mylex SCSI RAID controller seems to have a lot more options than the FastTrack but I do not know if I can use them yet. In addition to selecting the boot disc I want to select the sequence in the bios of the additional drives. If the sequence can be selected then perhaps one could preserve a drive letter sequence when altering boot drives.

The FastTrack drive mirror option seems simpler than the Drive Image software solution to backing up a drive. The FastTrack methodology is not software (DOS) dependent as is the Powerquest drive copy solution.

I need SCSI for my peripherals. If I went completely SCSI I could disable the IDE controller and gain an IRQ or two. I would not lose a slot to the IDE RAID controller. It seems like a cleaner option but at a substantially higher cost.
