Thanks for that post from Yahoo, which is usually such an unbearable place I don't visit very often.What strikes me as the most interseting and perhaps most important element of the statement comes at the end, where the claim is made that QC is creating a tempest in a teapot over backward CDMAone compatibility, although the rational for doing this escapes me. If one couild easily migrate to WCDMA from IS95 why not license and move on? NTT DoCoMo's role in this is also confusing, unless they to are also trying to lock out Japanese IS95 operators.We're not hearing much from parties that have interests in both camps,ie MOT, Nokia,LU, which makes me wonder if the whole fight isn't really about royalties...Dave
