Because in the long run the direction of the stock is directly related to the earnings....so rather than guess at the direction of the stock, I prefer to do fundamental analysis and project what I believe future earnings will be.

Yup....I bought Intel at a little over 10 and will sell when it's much much much higher than today's price. In between, I could care less. INTC is not the kind of stock I trade. My decision to sell will be based on fundamentals not on the opinion of some bozo analyst.
