Mark,

You know, I have a wierd little rule (lurkers, you will forget this rule before you can use it): With moving BB stocks, I always sell at least half my position no later than 10 am every day. then buy back in if the correction is not damaging to the uptrend. Sorry to bore those that think this is old hat.

Market TA anyone?? Longs are like trout right now. I intend to be around when the stream flows my way again. Here is what I use to determine when it's safe to play the higher priced stuff again.

iqc.com

Seems simplistic, but see the green line?? It will dip under the red sometime this summer (quite soon). Once it turns back up heading over the red, party time!

Rashid

PS. Mark, you can quit yawning now.

HI MARK!

THANKS for the kind words. Seems to me that i almost need to make a mistake and loose some $$ before i learn a lesson. Sometimes i make a mistake also a couple of times. But it seems that with every mistake i get a better feel for this little piece of the puzzle and that now almost all pieces are lying on the board to trade decently. To be really good there will be still so much more to learn. But i started with TA and shorter term trading only 9 month ago which seems a short time compared to a lot of other people. I'm actually grateful that the market has been so good that despite all the mistake i still made a little money and didn't end up in the red. Now i just have to follow and apply the simple rules to define TREND, TIMING and RISK CONTROL. If you apply the 3% loss risk you probably need to be right only 1 out of 4 and still make money! That MM's shake you out is just a fact of life and needs to be expected. And your timing needs to be impeccable(sp?) if you want the stops that tight.
This game is the most complex game i ever played and it takes longer to master that then i thought. Actually the most difficult seems to be to master myself in this context.
Thanks for the continuous educational efforts from your side. You're great!!

Stefan

Thanks, Scott
