Ok, here are my thoughts about the Rocketeers and the future of
investing. I posted this last night on the three sister planets of the
Rocketeers. I've edited it to pertain more to this thread. Keep in mind
that I'm new to the investing world so I've made a few assumptions and
observations. I hope that T-Mex's intentions of a shift from momentum
trading to float control are true.
I already had started to see this phenomenon with T-Mex. I don't fully
understand his whole story, but what I see is a wealthy investor that,
working with a pool of other investors, picks a stock, builds momentum
on it, draws outsiders in, sells, shorts the stocks and makes a killing
going up and down. That is totally unlike the Rocketeers. But what I do
find similar and it wouldn't surprise to see this type of thing spring
up all the investing world, is what is essentially the formation of a
clan (in the Rocketeers case, a starfleet, but for the broader picture,
please feel free to insert whatever word you feel appropriate). As a
clan, we can wield impressive power in the investing world. Picking
undervalued stocks and bringing them closer to their correct market
value, allowing them to free themselves of the destructive MM games that
can destroy BB stocks, at the same time making very tidy profits, which
then leads the clan to its next investment (this would be about the
time, that wider market is discovering the stock and starting to buy our
float). This all just theory of course, but I figure we have to sell
some of our stocks to start our next ones (at least I will with my
shallow pockets, those with the deeper pockets have less to worry
about). Work with what we have first, build it up securely, before
looking to colonize another planet. Methodically we can take control of
one float after another (colonization). I was laughing when reading the
article about the future of investing involving special service brokers,
because I think we are the future of investing. Who's going to bother
with brokers when they can be part of a financial invasion fleet. They
get more and better dd, trading online is cheaper, the impact can be far
greater and the returns ENORMOUS. My one slight concern is warring
factions, a clan of shorters versus a clan of longs. Time will tell, but
whatever the case I feel that I'm part of a revolution in investing. I
wish I could have written this more articulately, but that's never been
my strong point.
Looking forward to feedback.
Kurt ($eeing the future)

If you guys want to get a good laugh tonight, go over to the DIXS
thread. TokyoMex and that crew are detailing their "Rocketeer Model"
plan. Reminds me of one of those Pirate Movies....you know, when they
find the buried treasure and as soon as one turns his back...THEY CUT
HIS THROAT....Less people to divy up the LOOT...
Check it out...it's a Hoot!!
