There was a company that said there were looking to buy a company in the price range that REDB fit (and there seem to be few other companies fitting the critieria). There are few enough messages on that thread to make it easy to see that discussion. I do not see them as a purchase for a major company because their technology seems to revolve around the same kind of index creation that others are now doing. I do not see as much innovation in what they did as Sybase did in IQ (for another acquisition target, see the Sybase thread both here and on Yahoo). Mark
