larry, mu was making money when i turned bearish. it no loner is. in fact it needs nearly a $500 deficit in cash flow per q to stay with current with technology. bearish was the way to go.

i also turned bearish at about $28 way back when. the stock is down 20% now. bearish was the long term place to be.

on the way, though, there were many surprises and lessons to be learned. overestimate the intelligence of bubble market investors at your own risk ;-) lots of good beer. then mediocre beer. then 40s of old english ;-) i'm back to the good stuff now ;-)

bearish has been the right place to be. bullish was dead wrong on fundamentals and lucky on the price action. however, those who didn't see the problems with mu that have been so obvious for so long probably weren't smart enough to sell for a profit, either.

You're right. But I also learned another thing in econ: it's every man for himself, and I take full responsibility for my decisions.

I have learned that "timing the Skeeter bug" requires almost as much agility as "timing the market";-)
