Your post about saving the babies is absolutely untrue, Shalom. As I said last night, any movement which wants to save babies but let mothers die of botched, illegal abortions, or blow away abortion clinic staff like the Army of God does, does not value human life in a pure sense.

When the religious right gets serious about preventing pregnancy, which unfortunately for all of you requires a serious commitment to sex education and easily available contraceptives, then I think you will gain some respect from the mainstream.

No one likes abortion. Even people who regrettably believe it is a lesser evil than the alternatives are very conflicted over this issue. To say that you hold the higher moral ground when your real agenda includes controlling the reproductive freedom of women, even though you men do not have the babies, or the primary responsibility for them, seems more like male domination than compassion.

I have never, ever met anyone who thought whales or trees were more important than human children. To resort to this low level of attack in your posts brings me to the conclusion you must be desperate. Shame on you for your lies!!! Isn't that in violation of one of the Commandments?

Shalom:

I side with Christine in that ultimately a woman has final say over her own body which is one of her supreme rights.
