Soup, I sent a response to Lee at LA Times too. I told him that I thought he 'didn't get it", as it was not intended for what he thinks of as a 'computer user'- it's an internet appliance, and I know lots of people that will buy it. I also mentioned that as a bithead, I would ethernet to my Starmax- and that I didn't need TWO old floppy drives! Well, poor Lee seems to have goten a lot of email; his reply was rather hostile. So, I sent a frendly reply back referencing a link about the quiet war going on with SOHO networking products. This seemed to cheer him up. He says he is writing a book on home networking. If apple can make ethernet as simple as Appletalk, it's going to be one short book, unless Lee does Windows. R.
