Seems to be more than a co-incidence - <Newbridge Networks named Alan Lutz, the former head of Compaq's networking unit, president and chief operating officer Wednesday..> If coms can hire a guy with multi-billion dollars revenue experience and connection - somebody with calibre like Dave House, then it should be quite interesting. NN and coms seems to be playing by the same rule-book right now. I think Eric thinks coms has stablized enough this qtr (like NN minus the big run-ups so far) so that he can passed the bucket to the new guy. Usually big-shots like to take on jobs like this because 1. He/She doesn't like their old boss 2. the old job is getting boring 3. the down and out company will give them ton of options which will very easily double in value in a short time, and 4. they like the challenge Mang
