Is anyone buying intel at these prices and if so, why? Looking for an entry point ever since I sold late last fall and switched holdings to brkb.

Thus far no insider buying - so i do not think we've seen bottom yet. Last cycle bottom was about 15 x earnings which would put it at $45.

Looking for feedback.

Gary

Good morning Sonki,

RE: "Intel Corp. (INTC) 66 1/8 -3 1/8: Hambrecht & Quist lowers Q2 EPS estimate and revenues for chip maker, according to CNBC; lowers EPS from $0.69 to $0.65 a share on revenues of $5.6 bln due to weaker PC sales and lower unit volume; according to First Call, INTC projected to earn $0.70 in Q2 vs year-ago profit of $0.92 on revenues of $5.96 bln; H&Q also lowers FY98 EPS from $3.04 to $2.92 a share.....

paul, give H&Q a nickel as well. Now he is down grading after the stock falls below 52wk.low."

Maybe it is time to rename Intel to INTELTANIC as the price of this stock keeps sinking to new lows. It is perhaps time to throw the ceo overboard and get a new captain.

Excuse me while I climb into one of the life boats

Frank
