TARIQ... All...
Wow, things certainly been moving here. I'd like to, right off the bat, attach a disclaimer to myself. I am not a wealthy person, far from it, but we'll see how this year goes. I am not a seasoned investor. I've just been watching and learning. I have a knack for seeing trends in other things, and I'm just now applying it to investing. I've been in DGIV since early April and follow the thread regularly. It wasn't until I saw the development of ICVI and INFE that I picked up on the thread, and I was somewhat aware of Tmex's approach. I even got burned on a Tmex play on PLNM after doing well on PNLK. Anyway, enough about me.
So I think this can work. I'm impressed, that an entire plan was put together this evening. I'm not used to solid plans though. The Rocketeers plan is hold and buy more. I think instead of critiqueing the plan, I should just offer some more observations about what I think it will take to make this work.
1) The company has to be way undervalued to start
2) The company has to have a promising future supported by DD that can be provided by the list members. This is very important.
3) Confidence needs to be maintained in the stock. This is maintained by 2) and the leaders maintaining their stances on the stock, as well as listing their current holdings. Tmex saying that he sold 1/3 of his shares at the high open, does not instill confidence in me. He is honest about it though and I appreciate that. Had he not though, where would this stock be at now?
4) When MM's bring the price down, they should be flooded with buys. Encouragement from leaders is helpful.
5) Regular share tally updates give perspective and goals.

It's really late and I still I'm getting up in 3.5 hours. I still am putting my thoughts together on this topic. It's a brave new world. I would like to add finally, that part of being a Rocketeer has to do with fun and socializing. We don't worry too much about down days and reassure each other about where we're headed. Several leaders carry us through the lulls and there is a general crackle of nearly tangible excitement in the air. I don't find my guts churning about drops (what little there are). These are intangibles that you can not just copy. If the plan is working here, it will form it's own unique culture. I've referred to this type of investing as 'investing clans'. I chose that phrase because I associate the word clan as a somewhat close group of individuals that rely on each other and the unity of the group to achieve their goals (basic survival, food gathering, controlling the float (heh)). I think I'm starting to ramble (really really tired).
TARIQ, keep up the good work, I think you may be on to something. I think your approach is far more technical or rigid than the Rocketeers, but that's not to say it won't work great.
Tokyo Mex, I know your approach is sell at the peak and buy on the dip, over and over, but you create a volatility that scares the hell of some people. BB stocks are volatile as it is, and I think your approach adds to it. If you want to see how well this experiment is going to work, buy and hold and buy some more. That approach will bring more investors and everybody profits. I frequently see people bailing on a stock solely because you appear. I realize that you probably make a killing already with your current methods. Just a suggestion.
I'm sure I'll have more ideas or suggestions, but I might not have a lot of time here until Saturday. Good luck with Thursday.
Cheers.
Kurt
