July Brent is up .56, following the after-hours market in crude. I guess we may get some pop; I see MDCO is bid up 3/4 (but I don't see any increase in FGII or GLBL, at the moment).

ED: MDCO now bid up 1/2

By my calculation, the benchmark OSX fell 2.21% yesterday.

In this case, the OSX did not reflect the "wider oil services market." I looked at all the oil service and drilling stocks, even those that nobody has even heard about, and those that nobody on this thread owns (including, apparently, that most unfortunate WNS). And. on balance, there were more winners than losers.

Have to say, however, I own only one stock that was in the winning category, and that one is an over-all loser (TDW). (Boo hoo!)

P.S. And isn't the OSX a weighted index? If so, that could distort the picture.
