Perry, back on the thread.The answer is yes.Penicillin is an extremely weak antibiotic in as much it has been around the longest,( since 1948, and essentially most germs are resistant to it. You may want to look for a new doctor indeed , gg, who is more aware of the changing patterns of bacterial resistance,
