Geri:

I think the effect of any new purchase on FEET stock will depend entirely on the perception of how well FEET can integrate the new companies into its mold. It could be that FEET is taking over companies in bad shape just so they can capture additional market share. They may figure that it is worth the cost (long-term) to gain market share. Or maybe the companies are relatively strong and the purchase will be immediately accretive to earnings.

Watch the press release and see what they say about whether or not FEET expects the purchases to be accretive to earnings immediately or only long-term. That is what will drive the stock price up or down.
