Daytrading or selling at a top in the morning and buying late in the afternoon has been advocated and been a success for some.
I have considered it and have done it on various stocks from time-to-time. I have not done that with EDII because I don't want to miss the big run up which will happen one of these days. Also if I sell more than 15,000 or 20,000 shares on a market order they could down tick me or hold my sell for fifteen minutes before they execute and then I end up just about where I would want to buy in again. Selling and rebuying works on a big temporary spike if you think that you can get sold in a timely fashion. With EDII I would rather hold for a longer term gain and if it takes a while so be it.
