For some reason the general population has no idea what the heck Katmai and Tanner are no less that RAMBUS technology will be used in them. Merced, they have heard about, every night on the news and everyday in the paper (not just recently). How come there is little mention of these other technologies. My guess is that these are just insignificant stepping stones to Merced. When (a date please) will rambus technology be used with intel products in a significant way that the results of this use will show up in the revenue stream?
