Jim P., if you don't believe that management has the ability to shave or add a penny to the numbers, you're just plain wrong. As for conspiracies, you shouldn't be so naive to believe that something like that wouldn't intentionally occur.

DELL carefully manages the numbers (on a conservative basis), and I believe that there is a significant shift of earnings into the next quarter on a regular basis.
