Mark,
I got in for the same reasons you did, and still hold some. I saw more than just a good product though. I can envision and know of many applications, even in my own corporation. I believe though, that everyone in I/T, even on a mid-size level, is so focused on Y2K, enterprise migration, globalization and the internet, that initiative to find and fund applications like Vortex is exhausted. By the time market conditions allow for the introduction of this great product, it will no longer belong to Xinex(us). Hence, I agree with you, no demand. Only a good marketing company with $ can measure and generate that demand, as I have said here on other posts. But, at this point, I have to agree with Ruby that we existing shareholders are a kitten treed by a big dog, hoping a bigger dog will come along and we can gain some advantage out of the dogfight. Slim hope.
We live and learn. . . . and wait for the bigger dog.
