What do you make of their aggressive stance with the golfing association? The courts have tended to side with sport associations int their right to basically regulate equipment as it applies to the sport they govern. I'm a bit disconcerted to see ELY be so public about their lobbying instead of working the quietly and lobbying the board members and professional golfers for support. A lot of the folks that sit on the board of these things love nothing more than to think they walk on water and hate nothing more than anyone trying to tell them what they are doing is wrong.
