I'm hoping all these people bought in because they KNOW the report is coming today!

Mr. Metals:

I am trying to put a little perspectives on some numbers, ( very new to mining equations ).
6 million proven ounces--
annual production = (guess) 10% of reserves per year=600,000 oz.
annual revenues = 180 million
profit per oz. 100.00 ( guess )= gross profit of 60 million
90 million shares O/S
gross profit per share=.67
total annual sales of gold in 1997 by central banks = 409 ton
6 million oz./409 ton = 187.5 ton ( 46% of last year CB sales)
1 year production of 600,000 oz= 4.6% of annual 1997 CB sales

Now multiply all these figurers by a factor of 10 , which numbers of this magnitude are being thrown around and you get a gross profit per share of 6.70 and reserves of 60 million ounces and you come up with reserves equal to 4.58 times the annual sales of CB's last year.

I own a bunch but it still seems like a pie in the sky. If a find this large is for real it would IMO knock the price of gold down 50.00 per oz. ...gregor
