Barry,
You are correct. IMO the correct strategy is to preserve your gains
by setting target prices to buy and sell. At least that way you are
managing your money. I would never trust the markets to always
go up. The key is to ride the bull market to the top +/- 10%
and then get out, or at least re-set your investment strategy
according to the economic situation. Anyone remember the
analogy about the surfer posted late last summer??
