Welcome aboard, River!!

As far as your limit order goes...what they mean is, you can't get it filled until the price dips to 5 1/2...once that "limit" price hits only then can your order be filled. The price could stay above that, and therefore...your order would not be filled.

Hope that helps...

Patricia

River... as for online accounts, I DO NOT recommend suretrade. I'm using them now, and they just suck. I've heard that ndb is excellent. You pay 18 a trade instead of 8, but if you are in a hurry with your order you may end up covering that difference with your share price. Plus they are supposed to have excellent charts, etc. www.ndb.com Welcome aboard. Anybody know why, when posting with a lynx browser, that returns aren't recognized? My posts look alright on the screen when I type them (format wise), but they run together once I post. Kurt (hoping that the rain that followed him to Kentucky stays there when he goes home)

Hi River... not much time to talk right now...

As a novice investor, I strongly recommend that you go over to the INFE thread. There is a great deal going on right now and is a HUGE opportunity to observe and learn.

You will find out how the Rocketeers play the game and what we really are all about. Strength in mutual support.

Take care...

Lazarus, back to the INFE thread

The LOWEST the MM's have dipped DGIV in the past month (for a buy) is 5 5/8 If we close lower today than yesterday you MAY get it tomorrow, but why take the chance and POSSIBLY miss the big blastoff trying to save a couple hundred bucks per 1000 share buy?

Someone please correct me if my figures are wrong.
