There is a very interesting scenario that appears to be going on with another stock, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT relate to ACTV. The ticker for the stock is PKGP. It's a penny stock. Now, I'm not suggesting to buy it, do what you will. I just want to ask the opinion of others here, who are more knowledge than myself to the workings of the market, if a similar situation could be going on with ACTV?

There appears to be a large "undeclared" (illegal) short position on PKGP. The keyword is undeclared, meaning the shares are not reported and won't show up easily. From Art's post on manipulating convertible preferred stock, there is usually a large short position that drives down the price of the stock. With ACTV hovering around $1.75 again, I'm wondering if some MM are trying to shake out some investors in order to cover such shorts. Strange how the stock can not maintain any higher levels. Now, I could be completely wrong here. It makes for interesting speculation. I thought some people here may want to read more about it. There seems to be some well informed people on the subject at the Silicon Investors sight for PKGP. Almost every post is dedicated to the subject:

FWIW, A investment company (ICC) unofficially believes that a large undeclared short does exists on PKGP.
