<Yesterday, the market was struggling to stay afloat -- it seemed to want to go down, if anything before it broke> There's your intuition. <but my system was long and I could not bring myself to short for a day trade while the system was long. > There's your discipline. The key is just to "trust" that both can work harmoniously. I realize this is not easy....of course you should favor the system over the intuition. It's just that there are times the intuition has a valid point and some heed should be paid. After all, trading the system is what hones the intuition, once again.
