LSI Logic was just upgraded today by Merrill Lynch. Kurlak was maybe afraid to stick his neck out and also upgrade VLSI. Anyway:

Price/Sales Ratio for LSI = 2.5
Price/Sales Ratio for VLSI = 1

LSI strong in networking
VLSI strong in wireless

LSI always positive media spin
VLSI always bungles media spin

Good news for DIVX chips,
from today's Circuit City report:

"We also continue to make progress with Divx," Sharp
said. "The first Divx players and titles will be available to
the consumer on June 8. We expect to begin our
two-market launch with approximately 30 titles and to add
about 50 titles per month thereafter."
