Heh heh... I meant PRIA would be supplying whoever else is giving
Intel a run for their money. Yes, I've heard Daifuku is a major
competitor but I've also heard (believe the source was
Carl Johnson's infrastructure, and this was over a year ago so
things could have changed although I doubt the situation in Japan
is encouraging bold R&D spending) that they were not as good as
PRIA and appealed more to Asian, especially Japanese, chipmakers.
Currency should not be neglected though... but isn't choice of
automation supplier somewhat of a long-term choice for a fab
lifetime? I'm no expert here, so defer to those with more knowledge.
Speaking of automation, BRKS thread has been dead for awhile, now
that the stock looks to have followed it I may start buying...
