Problems with CheckFree announcements....none of them contain any hint of current revenues.

The Visa, Banc One, Quicken.com, Soon or Later full market launch stuff...none of it is now....it's all later.

5.8 Million shares have changed hands in this narrow band since 5/18/98. To see 10% of the outstanding shares go within a buck or so is boring. So to keep nodding off, I started chucking a few darts today.

>>Good earnings announcements.

Earnings don't mean anything to this stock ($0.30 or $0.32, doesnot matter), its the mgmt. outlook about the future which will take the stock price up and believe it or not, subscriber growth is key to the stock price as we view this stock as a growth stock and besides managing expectation is an easy thing to do.

"Show me the Growth!!!!", Pete...

1. The price of a stamp is going to 50 cents.
2. CheckFree is buying back it's shares.
3. Good earnings announcements.

I'd replace the first one with "rumors of buyout".
True or not , they move any stock's price.
