Credibility of Yahoo post - doubts . . .

" . . .local company almost must co-operate [sic] . . ."

The author is living in another world. Local companies will only do what is in their best interests, when it is in there best interests.

Gemini, sorry for the late reply. The author was taking advantage of a gaping void that FON created by the vagueness in the delivery of their initial message. I've seen other such accounts, and a lot of it is mere speculation, but the problem is that you never know who to believe, if the author simply uses references to similarly vague sources. I've replied to other similar queries here in SI, and some not so similar, and each is centered on a different aspect of the release. You may want to search those out in order to see what the questions were, and what my replies and ensuing rebuttals were. I'm / we're all over the map at times on this one, as was FON's initial announcement.
