Gary - Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that Novell currently has a greater market share than Microsoft in network operating systems. In other words, Netware has a greater share than NT server. Since Netware 5.0 will get to market way ahead of NT 5.0, Netware should not lost market share to Microsoft especially since NT will be an inferior product. I remember reading in PC Computing Magazine last fall after comdex that Netware runs substantially faster on Gigabit Ethernet than NT server. NT 5.0 has been delayed so many times that Microsoft has developed a serious credability problem with this particular product. I think the real reason for their delay is they know their product will suffer by comparison with Netware. Microsoft has a powerful monopoly in the PC operating system but it remains to be seen whether they can take market share from Novell. Novell will not only be the first to market but will have the better product.
