X-ray: In the matter of- "The term po faced means something
like poker faced. Is this the etymology?"

The British term, "po-faced," is defined by various sources as:

1) having an assumed solemn, serious, or earnest expression or
manner: piously or hypocritically solemn

2) woodenly expressionless or "deadpan"

The presumed etymology is decidedly inelegant, albeit obscure.
According to some, the term "po-faced," dating from 1934, may
derive from "po chamber pot," which itself is said to descend
from the French "pot pot" or toilet.
