John: OTOT RE: Your undiversified position.

"You bet I own shares in my employer - and a % of every paycheck goes to buy more. A licensed financial planner would probably chastise me for my relatively undiversified position."

I remember an Intel intern saying that he was told it would be a good idea to live on 75% of the Intel salary and put $0.25 of every dollar into company stock. He was told this by someone who had accumulated a sizeable chunk of stock and found that plan highly rewarding.

Hope your new position and continued investments in Intel are rewarding for you...and all Intel investors.

Thanks, too, for your past responses and your continued participation on the thread.

Do you now have Financial Planning services provided as a company benefit? If so, do the Financial Planners always encourage insiders to sell some of their Intel options/stock to diversify their portfolios? Just wondering since there have been comments about insiders always selling and no sign of buying.

Enough! Back to lurking. dmf
